On November 8, 2024, at 12 pm, at Athletics Palace the election congress of Georgian Athletics Federation was held. The new president Aleksi Akhvlediani was unanimously elected. The first vice-president Vasil Berishvili and vice-presidents Leo Gugeshashvili and Alexander Japaridze had also been elected. The General Secretary of the Georgian Athletics Federation will be Gvantsa Mikeladze.
